No time for grilling...that's okay.

On days (normally) when I do a strength training routine, I want to ensure that I am getting plenty of protein for muscle growth.  However, I am not always going to be able to grill or broil up some chicken for the day. So, the perfect healthy option are protein smoothie. There are an abundance of recipes out there for them, however, I always like to keep mine simple.

Here is one of my go to recipes for a protein smoothie.

  • 1 Scoop of Muscle Milk-Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries (these are fresh that I had previously frozen)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh mangoes
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened silk soy milk 
  • 1 ice cube
  • 1/2 cup or less of water.
